WORKERS PROGRAM

Are you considering immigrating to Canada? The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is an excellent option for skilled workers seeking to establish a career and a new life in Canada. However, the process of applying for the FSWP can be complex and daunting. That’s where Border Scapes Immigration Inc comes in. To qualify for the FSWP, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

You must demonstrate Language Proficiency, with a minimum language ability of CLB 7 in either the IELTS or CELPIP approved language tests. Language Skills carry maximum points of 28.

EDUCATION

You must have completed equivalent Canadian secondary or post-secondary school education that has been assessed and certified by an approved Education Credential Assessment (ECA) Report. Education carries maximum points of 25.

WORK EXPERIENCE

You must have at least one year of continuous full-time or part-time skilled work experience in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes 0, A, B within the last ten years. Work Experience carries maximum points of 15.

AGE

Your age is another crucial factor in determining your eligibility for the FSWP. You can receive up to 12 points based on your age.

JOB OFFER IN CANADA

If you have a valid offer of arranged employment, you can receive up to 10 points under this factor.

ADAPTABILITY

You can receive up to 10 points under Adaptability, which includes factors such as your spouse or common-law partner’s language proficiency, previous work or study in Canada, and family in Canada.

PROOF OF FUNDS

You must have sufficient funds to settle in Canada (including your family) unless you have a valid offer of arranged employment or are currently authorized to work in Canada.

OTHER

These include your admissibility to Canada and your intent to reside outside the province of Quebec once approved.

HOW DO I GET AN ECA DONE?

To ensure its validity and equivalence to the Canadian educational system, an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) is required for all foreign education credentials, including a degree, diploma, or certificate.

The IRCC has a list of designated organizations for ECA, and the processing time and cost vary for each.

CANADIAN EXPERIENCE
CLASS PROGRAM

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program is a specialized immigration pathway aimed at facilitating the transition of qualified candidates with a minimum of one year of Canadian work experience within the past three years, classified under National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A, or B, to obtain permanent residency in Canada. Its primary objective is to offer support to foreign graduates and temporary foreign workers seeking to establish a long-term presence in Canada.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Have at least one year of full-time or equivalent part-time skilled work experience in Canada within the last three years before application
  • The work experience must fall under National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A, or B categories
  • Full-time work experience is defined as 30 hours per week or a minimum of 1560 working hours over a period of 12 months
  • Work experience must be legal and with valid work authorization
  • Self-employment, work experience during full-time studies, and co-ops and internships as part of a course do not count towards valid work experience for CEC.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
  • Minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs, and CLB 5 for NOC B jobs
  • The preferred language test is International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
EDUCATION
  • No mandatory educational criteria, but it can improve overall Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score
OTHERS
  • Admissibility to Canada and valid status if residing in Canada are crucial for eligibility under the CEC
  • If residing or working in Quebec, applicants must apply for CEC through Express Entry but prove intention to reside outside Quebec upon approval.

FEDERAL SKILLED
TRADES PROGRAM

The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is a component of the Express Entry system that employs the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to evaluate and extend invitations to eligible candidates with expertise in a skilled trade. To qualify for the FSTP, an individual must possess work experience in a skilled trade National Occupation Classification (NOC) code, either within or outside of Canada.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

WORK EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time employment (or equivalent part-time experience) in a skilled trade within the past five years is required to be eligible for FSTP.
  • Work experience may not be continuous but must be acquired after obtaining the corresponding qualifications to perform the job.
JOB OFFER
  • Candidates may qualify for FSTP with a valid offer of full-time employment for at least one year from up to two Canadian employers.
  • The job offer must be for a skilled trade position under the National Occupation Classification (NOC) system.
CERTIFICATION OF QUALIFICATION
  • Candidates may also qualify for FSTP with a Certificate of Qualification in the skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial or territorial authority or a federal body.
  • The Certificate of Qualification serves as proof of the candidate’s qualification to practice a particular skilled trade in Canada after passing a certification exam and meeting all requirements to practice that trade in the relevant province or territory.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
  • Candidates must demonstrate minimum language proficiency in English or French to be eligible for FSTP.
  • Candidates must score a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 in speaking and listening and a minimum of CLB 4 in reading and writing.
ELIGIBLE NOC CODES
  • Candidates must have experience in one of the following NOC codes to be eligible for FSTP:

    • Major Group 72: Industrial, Electrical, and Construction trades
    • Major Group 73: Maintenance and equipment operation trades
    • Major Group 82: Supervisors and Technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture, and related production
    • Major Group 92: Processing, Manufacturing, and Utility Supervisors and Central Control Operators.
    • Minor Group 632: Chefs and Cooks
    • Minor Group 633: Butchers and Bakers

PROGRAM

A Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is an immigration program run by a Canadian province or territory to select and nominate individuals who have the skills, education, and work experience needed to contribute to the economy of that province or territory. Each PNP has its own eligibility requirements and criteria for selecting nominees.

PNPs are designed to meet the specific needs of each province or territory, so they may target certain occupations or industries that are in demand. In general, PNPs are aimed at skilled workers, business people, and students who wish to live and work in Canada as permanent residents.

  • The first application is made to the province for nomination.

CONSTANT FOLLOW UP & CORRESPONDENCE
  • We will maintain continued follow-up and correspondence with CICC on your behalf.
  • Most communication is done over emails, but virtual meetings with a consultant can be scheduled upon request.
SERVICE VALIDITY
  • Our services are valid until the receipt of Invitation to Apply (ITA) within two years of sign-up.
  • Upon receiving the ITA within this period, our services remain valid until PR approval, regardless of the timeline.
CHARGES
  • The charges for our services range from 4000 USD to 7000 USD.
  • The actual cost may vary depending on the number of applicants in the family and the complexity of the case.
